Julia Juenemann of Bethesda, Md., has received an offer for a prestigious Fulbright Student award for the coming 2018-19 academic year.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Some 3,072 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address.

Wesleyan University women's crew set a program record with five all-conference selections--seniors Amanda Molitor, Sophia Shoulson, Nicole Gershberg, junior Rachelle Flowers and sophomore Rachael Crunkleton--while senior Chris Wyckoff represented the men's side when the league recently announced its 2018 NESCAC Men's and Women's Rowing All-Conference Teams.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2017-18 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

The University of Alabama recently selected 39 students as Capstone Men and Women. Capstone Men and Women serve as official ambassadors of UA. They assist the University president's office, admissions and alumni during functions held on campus and in other locations, as well as host daily tours of the campus for prospective students and other visitors.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
